A very successful holiday project collection enabled us to donate approximately $3,000 in donations, gift cards, gifts, and non-perishable goods to clients and families of CP Rochester, Rochester Rehab, Happiness House and Andrews Center. Thank you to the 35 Rochester Press-Radio Club donors, families and volunteers, who gave from their heart, shopped, delivered and made the holiday season special for these families during this difficult time.

Johnny Antonelli made a name for himself on the diamond as a World Series hero and five-time Major League Baseball All-Star, and in the business world as owner of numerous Firestone Tire Stores in Upstate New York. Along the way, he became beloved in his hometown of Rochester because of his kindness and philanthropy. For six decades, John has been a gracious and generous supporter of our annual Rochester Press-Radio Club’s Day of Champions Children’s Charities Dinner. In 2019, the Club honored him with a special plaque to thank him for all he has done for us through the years.

Your hole sign donations, in-kind gifts, raffle items and golf sponsorships helped us raise $5,000 for Gilda's kids! We had 64 golfers and great weather on 09/12/18!
Thank you to the Bills Legends - Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Darryl Talley, and Steve Tasker for their commitment to our charity and everything they did so well to make our dinner a success.
Long-time club member, Jean Giambrone, often called "Rochester's First Lady in Sports," died Monday January 21, 2013 after a brief illness. She was 91. Sincere sympathy to Jean's family and friends from the Rochester Press-Radio Club's officers, board, and members.
Press-Radio Honored with a brick in the Walk of Fame at Frontier Field for its work with youth and sports.
Many thanks and much appreciation to all of the Funke family, the 2007 golf committee, and all of the generous golfers for helping our childrens charities!
The Press-Radio Club Children's Charities Chair, Mike Kauffman was presented with an extremely generous donation from the Rich Funke Jr. Golf Tournament Committee at the November 15, 2006 member meeting. The $10,000 gift was one of the largest single donations ever made to the club. It will be distributed to over 40 local children's organizations during our annual giving effort.
Many thanks and much appreciation to all of the Funke family, the golf committee participants, and all of the generous golfers for helping our childrens charities!
Congratulations to the Rochester Red Wings! The Red Wings were presented with the 2006 Press-Radio All Star award given to a group or an individual who has consistently contributed above and beyond to the Press-Radio club.
The Red Wings have contributed time, talent and resource towards our annual Dinner of Champions, our annual agency picnic, and have provided numerous gifts-in-kind as well as cash to our children's charities. Naomi Silver and the Red Wings are long-time supporters of the Annual Dinner of Champions and General Manager, Dan Mason and Assistant GM, Will Rumbold have served two consecutive two-year stints as President of the club. The front office has also been generous with their time and assisted us each year with the dinner.
Hats off to a giving and talented group and generous supporters of the Press-Radio Children's Charities.
